Course description
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Refresher course has been designed to reacquaint participants on the Lean Six Sigma fundamentals and its application and is intended for previously certified Green Belts looking to recertify and/or return to executing Lean Six Sigma project. Students are trained and tested on their understanding and ability to apply the tools and techniques of all elements of the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology.
Acuity Institute’s courses are conducted online and use a multi-media format that includes audio from experts, examples of successful performance improvement, interactive simulations and quizzes, and the most current and robust tools and techniques available. This is a “self-paced” online course and can be accessed at any time—and—anywhere, which provides the most flexibility in completing the course. On average, students complete the course in 25 hours (average completion time, actual time may vary).
Upon completion, students will be able to move seamlessly from the training environment back into the workplace and begin leading Lean Six Sigma projects. We recommend this course to previously certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt that have not been leading projects and apply the related tools and are looking to refresh these skills.

Certification requirements
To achieve your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, you must
- Complete the Online Lessons and Quizzes
- Complete the Simulated Project Deliverables and Tollgate Reviews
- Successfully pass the Exam.
Students will have two attempts to successfully pass the exam (80% or higher). The exam is open-book and administered online, with a maximum of 4 hours to complete. Students may use any reference materials to complete the exam — including training manuals, project materials, etc.

Complete course…right balance of theory and practical part. It can be used immediately even if you are in the beginning of the course and you get your certification at the same time your project is done. It gives you a large time of one year to complete your course. I recommend this especially to those like me have constraints in their job’s time schedule but want to learn anyway.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course was really well done. It provided all of the necessary tools and instructions for me to understand and apply learned concepts into real world situations. The pace of course is good and does not consume a lot of time. Overall, this was a positive experience and has changed my way of analyzing a problem.
