Course description
Acuity Institute’s courses are conducted online and use a multi-media format that includes audio from experts, examples of successful performance improvement, interactive simulations and quizzes, and the most current and robust tools and techniques available. This is a “self-paced” online course and can be accessed at any time—and—anywhere, which provides the most flexibility in completing the course. Learners have 12 months to complete the course. If a learner spends 5 hours per week, the certification can be completed in six weeks.

Certification requirements
To achieve your Agile Project Management Certification, you must
- Successful completion of Introduction to Agile module
- Successful completion of Principles of Scrum module
- Successful completion of Challenges Leading Agile Teams module
- Successful completion of Integrating Agile in a Waterfall Environment module
- Successful completion of Agile Project Management Professional Certification Exam
Students will have two attempts to successfully pass the exam (80% or higher). The exam is open-book and administered online, with a maximum of 1 hour to complete. Students may use any reference materials to complete the exam — including training manuals, project materials, etc.

The course provides in depth understanding of the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) road map and has taught me how to collect and analyze performance data, identify inefficiencies and problems, pinpoint root causes, and institute new protocols to greatly improve processes. The course covers Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and helps to develop skills in leading a team through the process of change. The course has a practical and applied focus.

Complete course…right balance of theory and practical part. It can be used immediately even if you are in the beginning of the course and you get your certification at the same time your project is done. It gives you a large time of one year to complete your course. I recommend this especially to those like me have constraints in their job’s time schedule but want to learn anyway.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course was really well done. It provided all of the necessary tools and instructions for me to understand and apply learned concepts into real world situations. The pace of course is good and does not consume a lot of time. Overall, this was a positive experience and has changed my way of analyzing a problem.
