This is not test prep—the goal of HR Skills® is to provide leaders and teams with the core skills and practices to foster better connections, communicate effectively, provide useful feedback, and navigate difficult situations. This certificate does carry recertification credits for HRCI® and SHRM®.

Course description
Acuity’s HR Skills® Best Practices Certificate gives learners the opportunity to become confident HR professionals that have the skills to execute conflict resolution, effective communication, performance evaluation, and talent and leadership development.
Acuity Institute’s courses are conducted online and use a multi-media format that includes audio from experts, examples of successful performance improvement, interactive simulations and quizzes, and the most current and robust tools and techniques available. This is a “self-paced” online course and can be accessed at any time—and—anywhere, which provides the most flexibility in completing the course.
The learner must complete all modules associated in order to receive their badge and completion certificate. On average, students complete the certificate in 17 hours, each module is approximately 2 hours in length (average completion time, actual time may vary). Learners have 12 months to complete the course.

This course has helped me to further enhance my leadership skills, problem solving skills as well as analyzing and improving business processes. The course provides in depth understanding of the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) road map and has taught me how to collect and analyze performance data, identify inefficiencies and problems, pinpoint root causes, and institute new protocols to greatly improve processes. The course covers Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and helps to develop skills in leading a team through the process of change. The course has a practical and applied focus.

Complete course…right balance of theory and practical part. It can be used immediately even if you are in the beginning of the course and you get your certification at the same time your project is done. It gives you a large time of one year to complete your course. I recommend this especially to those like me have constraints in their job’s time schedule but want to learn anyway.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course was really well done. It provided all of the necessary tools and instructions for me to understand and apply learned concepts into real world situations. The pace of course is good and does not consume a lot of time. Overall, this was a positive experience and has changed my way of analyzing a problem.
